Workshop Overview
This entry-level workshop is ideal for anyone curious about tufting. In just three hours, you'll design and create a set of four unique coasters — matching or completely different, it's up to you!
You'll learn how to operate a tufting machine, work with yarn on fabric, and finish your pieces using a simple adhesive method that lets you take your coasters home the same day.
Shapes can be circles, squares, or anything in between — just keep in mind that smaller tufted pieces require simpler designs.
This workshop is open to ages 12 and up and is the perfect way to dip your toes into fiber arts with no pressure and lots of fun.
If you don't finish during the workshop, you're welcome to return within a week during studio hours to complete your set.

You are welcome to stay in the studio as long as we are not fully booked in order to finish your rug.
And/or you can opt to have us finish the rug for you at an additional cost.

At the end of your workshop, we will hang on to your rug to glue, cut, and carve it so that it is finished well for you.
Before you leave the studio you will choose to pick-up your finished rug later (usually within 1 week) or you can opt to have us ship it to you. Shipping starts at $15.
